What Does Delayed Period Along With Negative UPT Indicate?
Hi my name is kaitlyn and I stopped the birth control pill almost two months ago. I started my period as usual at the end of the month in February. February 24th and ended March 2nd and I did not have a period for march. I m actually 11 days late. I took a pregnancy test 4-5 days ago and it was negative. Any help?

Hi, I think you should wait for one more week and repeat the test. If negative, you can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. It can be due to some stress factor also.

Period delayed by 11 days ( I am afraid it's been done a bit earlier. You should repeat it if do. A home pregnancy test done after 8 days delay in period gives reliable result.) A repeat pregnancy test still remains -ve ......indicates hormonal imbalance in form of ovarian /thyroid problem or ovulation failure (pcod) weakness due to ill health, severe anemia,physical or psychological stress can result in such delay in period.
Wait for few more days for period/take hormonal pills short course as per your doctor's advise.
Meet a gynecologist for further investigations &specific treatment ..in case the ptoblem recurs next month too.
